The game is fun, despite the fact it is supported by intrusive adverts, it is simple to learn and easy to complete. There are too few Dynomons to collect, which means older players will probably complete the game within an hour. The game feels a little unfinished, and it needs more places to visit and things to do. Many of its players would prefer more levels and more monsters. One of the biggest complaints about the game, besides the fact it is eerily similar to Pokémon, is that the game is too short. You can see their training progress via a bar under their image on your team page. You can train your creatures while you have them.
The aim is to collect all of the pocket creatures and fill up your card panel. You cannot battle with other people online, only with the computer-controlled players in the game. You are a trainer, and you train up your monsters for battle. You capture the creatures and then use them to fight with other creatures. You are a character in the game that has to explore the game world to find creatures. The principle of Pocket Monsters Battle is the same as the older Pokémon games. The term “Pocket Monsters” was actually coined just before the creation of Pokémon and was actually what people used to call Pokémon before the Pokémon name became popular. The pocket monsters are not Pokémon, they are Dynomon, which is what this game calls its pocket monsters, which are the creatures you have to capture and battle with.
Pocket Monsters Battle is a free game that is deeply inspired by the previous versions of the Pokémon game, but has nothing to do with Pokémon or the Pokémon Go game. I believe that the reason we receive bad eggs, is because the pgt data is junk, and the bad eggs were merely following the structure dictated in the pgt.Despite the fact that the Pocket Monsters Battle app has the Pokémon graphic on its app, and the fact it says Pokémon on it, doesn’t make it a Pokémon game. However, AFAIK pcd/pgt are not encrypted, so your "solution" does not apply here. Without the correct PID to decrypt it, the game would see it as a bad egg. pk3's in the save are actually encrypted. Our situation is unlike the bad eggs obtained from Debug Ruby version, where the game actually gave you a pk3. Every other field looks like junk data.įrankly, I think the species data is also just junk data the MysteryGiftEditor shows it's Zubat cause the junk data in that offset happens to coincide with a possible species ID. It has messed up moves, messed up OT, and messed up TID/SID assigned to it. Presently, I would be more inclined to believe that it was a real Pokémon gift, if the file had any semblance of Pokémon data. The first thing I did last night, was to change the options and see what data was possible (like how decchi's Azure Card could distribute Pokémon when gift type was changed)
I have no idea on how to do it however as I didn't resolve the first issue.Įdit: MysteryGiftEditor gives me a Zubat but with a lot of datas missing. We have to find the correct PID in order to make them work. I think the bad eggs issue is the same as the German Ruby Debug version. (I loaded a Complete Dex Save into the debug game, then used the debug menu to get the deliveryman, then saved into it) The debug wondercards can also be seen using PKHeX. Here's a save from before the 3x eggs were collected. When I remove those 2 wonder cards, the Manaphy egg that followed right after was able to be redeemed. When collected on a final DP game, what is received is a 2x Bad Eggs and 1 Manaphy egg.)īased on my tests, the corrupted eggs are the reason why debug DP crashes. In any case, here's a save with the mons right before they're collected. It was field debug (overworld R+X buttons) > Ono (IIRC option is all the way at the bottom) > Delivery debug (second option from top). (If need be, I could provide screenshots, tho)Įdit: Took me a while to find it. I would link to their site, but there could be a ROM lurking somewhere on their site (or eventually they'll upload one), They got maps and sprites (tho the front sprites for the proto-mons were missing, even though the back sprites were included)Įventually they stopped receiving a reply regarding it, so they decided to move ahead and create a rom hack with all the dumped assets they've gotten. They found a donor who originally wanted to provide their group with the prototype,Īnd they asked for dumped assets as proof. To be precise, I was just summarizing the info helix chamber mentioned. Having the real prototype ROM would have been much more interesting however I won't complain about people working on it.
However this is just a ROM-hack (base on assets dumped from the ROM according to so beware. Great news everyone there is a project about Pokemon green prototype "recreation".
